On April 7, 2026, a subsidiary of American Water Works Company, Inc. (NYSE:AWK), Indiana American Water, reported plans to build a $19 million PFAS treatment facility near Terre Haute, the company's second such project in Indiana. The corporation secured around $14 million in State Revolving Fund funding and anticipates completion by mid-2028.
