GLENVIEW, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Anixter International Inc. (NYSE: AXE) today announced that its wholly-owned operating subsidiary, Anixter Inc., has priced $250 million of 6.00% senior notes due 2025. The offering is expected to close on November 13, 2018. Anixter International will fully and unconditionally guarantee the notes, which will be unsecured obligations of Anixter Inc. Anixter intends to use the net proceeds of the offering to pay a portion of the consideration for the notes validly tendered and accepted for purchase in its tender offer for any and all of its outstanding $350 million 5.625% Senior Notes due 2019, announced separately today, and to pay related transactions fees and expenses. The notes will be offered in the United States to qualified institutional buyers pursuant to Rule 144A under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the “Securities Act”), and outside the United States
