EPS of (up ), and generated $230 million of operating cash flow in H1 while raising the quarterly dividend 18% and repurchasing $106 million of stock. The company's segments diverged: Acuity Brands Lighting (ABL) saw sales decline to $817 million (down ) but improved margins (gross margin +70 bps to ), while Acuity Intelligent Spaces (AIS) grew to $248 million (up $77 million ) with margin expansion and unchanged guidance of low- to mid-teens growth. For the full year management expects ABL sales to be flat to down low single digits , flagged near-term risks from project timing, tariffs and memory supply constraints that could keep conditions “bumpy” for 6–12 months, and said it will balance debt paydown, opportunistic buybacks and targeted M&A—particularly to expand AIS.
