The International Space Station could soon welcome its newest arrivals if a mission to send four astronauts to the outpost gets off the ground as scheduled. NASA and billionaire Elon Musk's SpaceX have been hoping to launch a mission known as Crew-12 a few days early in order to get more personnel up to an uncharacteristically understaffed space station. Now, following two weather-related delays in Florida that postponed the mission for as many days, Crew-12 is slated for an early morning liftoff on Friday, Feb. 13. If the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launches on schedule, the four-person crew – which includes two Americans – has a 10-hour journey to reach the orbital laboratory. Their arrival would likely be welcome news to the three astronauts on board, who have kept the station running by themselves after four Crew-11 astronauts were medically evacuated more than four weeks ago.
