The bank's survey shows fund managers are the most bullish they've been in more than three years. Cash holdings have plummeted to the lowest on record. Bank of America 's latest survey of fund managers shows that bullishness is running high as the market heads into 2026. Analyst Michael Harnett on Tuesday highlighted the findings from the bank's latest survey of 238 fund managers, which showed the group is the most bullish they've been in three-and-a-half years. This widespread optimism stems from the view that the US will avoid a recession that some bears have predicted and achieve a soft landing as macroeconomic conditions hold up and continue to support the market. BofA's survey also found that cash levels among fund managers have fallen to their lowest level on record, demonstrating high investor participation in the market.
