The more they sell off, the more I'm considering going long with risky OTM call options. In my view, BAC's fundamentals and 2026 guidance (5-7% net interest income growth) remain intact despite the policy-headline fear. On top of that, the proposed one-year 10% credit card APR cap has minimal direct impact on BAC, given that card gross interest yield was 11.76% in Q4. Valuation is compelling: BAC trades near sector lows on P/B and forward P/E. Despite policy and lower interest rate risks this year, I believe markets may rally once the policy overhang is removed.
