(NYSE: BAM, TSX: BAM.A, Euronext: BAMA) today announced financial results for the quarter ended March 31, 2019. Bruce Flatt, CEO of Brookfield, stated, “We have had a strong start to 2019. In addition to announcing our agreement to acquire 62% of Oaktree Capital Management, our other businesses were active in committing or closing on a number of new transactions and progressing those previously announced.
