For 2026, industry players expect the pipeline to finally open up for deals across the size spectrum. After years of liquidity concerns, LPs with cash on hand to commit to new funds and co-invest in one-off deals alongside their top managers will emerge triumphant from the current cycle. “We're quite bullish across the market,” said David Nowak, president of Brookfield Asset Management's private equity group, which has $151 billion in AUM and focuses on industrials and manufacturing deals. “You saw a rebound on the bigger side of the deals.
