WALLA WALLA, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Banner Corporation (NASDAQ: BANR) (“Banner”), the parent company of Banner Bank, today reported net income of $53.5 million, or $1.54 per diluted share, for the third quarter of 2025, compared to $45.5 million, or $1.31 per diluted share, for the preceding quarter and $45.2 million, or $1.30 per diluted share, for the third quarter of 2024. Net interest income was $150.0 million for the third quarter of 2025, compared to $144.4 million in the preceding quarter and $135.7 million for the third quarter a year ago. The increase in net interest income compared to the preceding quarter and the prior year quarter reflects an increase in both the yield and average balance of interest-earning assets. The increase in net interest income compared to the prior year quarter also reflects a decrease in overall funding costs.
