Of the top position players, Kyle Tucker and Bo Bichette rejected the qualifying offer of $22.3 million for 2026 by their old teams, the Chicago Cubs and Toronto Blue Jays respectively. Cody Bellinger and Alex Bregman have already been down that path and don't have offers. Among the pitchers, Framber Valdez of the Houston Astros, Ranger Suarez of the Philadelphia Phillies, Zac Gallen of the Arizona Diamondbacks and Michael King of the San Diego Padres are all still on the market after rejecting their qualifying offers stipulated in the Basic Agreement.
