Minnesota Medical Technologies Corp. , which makes silicone devices to treat fecal incontinence, is quickly turning that financial infusion into employees to sell to U.S. customers in the wake of clearance by the Food and Drug Administration in January. To do that, MMT CEO David Jonas is realigning the focus of the manufacturer based in Stewartville's booming Schumann Industrial Park. He recently hired a five-member sales team to sell their novel product, StaySure, to doctors and hospitals throughout the country. It is the only treatment alternative to adult diapers on the market. "This funding marks a pivotal moment for our company," said Jonas. "We've had to shift gears. I told our sales team during our first national sales meeting last week that we're morphing from an R and D /manufacturing company into a sales and marketing company."
