(Nasdaq: BELFA and BELFB), a designer, manufacturer and provider of products that power, protect and connect electronic circuits, today announced preliminary financial results for the first quarter of 2020. First Quarter 2020 Highlights Net sales of $104.0 million, down 17.1% from Q1-19Gross profit margin of 24.2%, down from 24.5% in Q1-19Net loss of $3.8 million, as compared with net earnings of $1.1 million in Q1-19CUI acquisition in December 2019 contributed $8.2 million to Q1-20 sales at a gross profit margin of 36.8%Backlog of $191.2 million at March 31, 2020, up 19% from year-endCash flow provided by operating activities of $8.1 million Non-GAAP financial measures, such as Non-GAAP net earnings, Non-GAAP EPS, EBITDA and Adjusted EBITDA, exclude the impact of acquisition-related costs and restructuring charges.
