The stablecoin was developed under the Wyoming Stable Token Commission and is designed to combine state-managed reserves with blockchain-based settlement. While earlier infrastructure plans were announced in August 2025, the latest launch opens $FRNT to public use across multiple blockchain networks, including Solana and Avalanche Related: Explained: What is a stablecoin? The assets, consisting exclusively of U.S. dollars and short-term Treasuries, are managed by Franklin Templeton. Its affiliate, Fiduciary Trust Company International, will act as custodian.
