Shares of Biogen Inc. were down 0.3% in premarket trading on Monday after The New York Times reported on Sunday that a company event in late February led to "superspreading" of COVID-19 among its employees. Even after reports of positive tests among employees who attended the meeting came in, at least four Biogen executives attended an investor conference in early March, two of whom later tested positive for COVID-19. In total, at least 99 employees of Biogen, a biotechnology company based in Cambridge, Mass., and their contacts in Massachusetts have been sickened by the novel coronavirus. Biogen employees were also the first known cases in Indiana, North Carolina, and Tennessee, and executives from Germany and Switzerland who attended the February meeting have also tested positive for the virus. A symptomatic employee living in Massachusetts traveled to China with her family and was put under investigation by Chinese authorities once her flight landed there, The Times reported. Bioge
