March 11 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index came off its 2-year highs on Monday, pulled down by energy and technology shares, as investors indulged in profit-taking ahead of a key inflation report from the United States due later in the week. At 10:17 a.m. ET (14:17 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index was down 94.31 points, or 0.43%, at 21,643.22. Rate-sensitive technology stocks weighed on the index with a 1.2% decline, tracking losses in the tech-heavy Nasdaq in the U.S. Crypto miner Bitfarms slipped 9.2% to over a month low after it announced an at-the-market equity offering worth $375 million. Energy shares lost 0.9% on slipping oil prices as persistent global geopolitical concerns collided with softening demand concerns in China. "A large amount of profit taking was coming in on Friday where a number of markets hit all-time highs, and we're seeing a follow through on that today," said Colin Cieszynski, chief market strategist at SIA Wealth Man
