There was a fairly draconian cut to their revenue estimates, perhaps an implicit admission that previous forecasts were much too optimistic. Trump has pledged to "unleash" American oil and gas and these 15 US stocks have developments that are poised to benefit. Following the downgrade, the current consensus from Bitfarms' eight analysts is for revenues of US$289m in 2026 which - if met - would reflect a major 23% increase on its sales over the past 12 months. Losses are expected to increase substantially, hitting US$0.11 per share. Yet before this consensus update, the analysts had been forecasting revenues of US$329m and losses of US$0.085 per share in 2026. So there's been quite a change-up of views after the recent consensus updates, with the analysts making a serious cut to their revenue forecasts while also expecting losses per share to increase.
