Everything is bigger in Texas, and now its wholesale shopping scene has a new heavyweight in the mix. Residents in the Dallas-Fort Worth area will now get to shop BJ's Wholesale Club. The Massachusetts-based retailer opened its first Texas location in Forney on April 17, marking a major milestone in the company's long-planned expansion into the state. A grand opening celebration is set for Friday, April 24, according to a news release. The company has been building toward this moment for months, after announcing plans earlier this year to establish multiple North Texas locations . Stores in Fort Worth, Grand Prairie and Waxahachie are also in the pipeline, with additional filings pointing to future development in Tyler and Mesquite. Ahead of next week's grand opening, BJ's is offering a one-day promotion aimed at drawing early crowds. Its Forney gas station will sell fuel for $2 per gallon on Wednesday, April 22, from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., a notable discount as the company leans
