Christopher Pinsak has been promoted to chief operating officer of BJ's Restaurants, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. He has served as the casual-dining chain's executive vice president and chief restaurant operations officer since September 2024. He previously served as senior vice president of operations from January 2010 to September 2024. Pinsak joined the company in 2004 as senior regional vice president. Prior, he was the director of operations for Wood Ranch BBQ & Grill. He started his career at Brinker International where his last position was area director of Chili's Bar & Grill. Pinsak's appointment comes less than a year after BJ's named Lyle Tick as chief executive officer . The chain has since put a plan in place that focuses on its core menu, leverages its signature Pizookie platform and craft beverages, simplifies operations, and creates a more contemporary environment.
