Any child under 18 with a Social Security number can have a Trump Account. Babies born between 2025 and 2028 qualify for $1,000 in government-funded seed money. Parents have enrolled more than 4 million children in an investment account that doesn't exist yet. But the rollout got closer this week. The Treasury Department on Monday designated Bank of New York Mellon ( BK ) as the financial agent for Trump Accounts , the tax-advantaged investment accounts for children created under last year's One Big Beautiful Bill Act. Together, BNY and Robinhood Markets ( HOOD ) will build an unbranded app that will let families manage their children's accounts starting July 4, the government said.
