Booking Holdings Inc. said late Monday that it was withdrawing its first-quarter guidance due to the worsening impact of the COVID-19 outbreak on travel demand. Booking shares fell 1.8% during the extended session Monday. The company said that travel demand especially in North America and Europe has fallen, but because of the "rapidly evolving situation" Booking Holdings isn't able to issue fresh guidance. The company said it would offer an update in its first-quarter earnings call. Booking stock closed down 5.2% to $1,527.80 during the regular session as the S&P 500 index dropped 7.6%.
