(“BELLUS” or “the Company”) (NASDAQ: BLU) for violations of the securities laws.The investigation focuses on whether the Company issued false and/or misleading statements and/or failed to disclose information pertinent to investors. BELLUS announced the topline results of its Phase 2 RELIEF trial for BLU-5937 on July 6, 2020. The Company’s trial failed to reach its primary endpoint of a statistically significant reduction in awake coughs per hour at various time points in the four doses tested.
