Banco Latinoamericano (Bladex) unveiled a 2030 plan centered on three pillars—disciplined growth with price discipline, higher non-interest income, and lower funding costs via an operating deposit base—and is targeting a 16%–17% sustainable adjusted ROE by 2030 The bank is shifting toward a more transactional, fee-driven trade banking model to capture deposits and fees, aiming for operating deposits of 8%–12% of total deposits , 15–30 correspondent banking clients, and $3–$5 million in transactional fees by 2030. Management says it exceeded its 2026 targets one year early without taking more risk, citing a tripled stock price, fourfold non-interest income growth, improved efficiency and capital metrics (Tier 1 ~17.4%), and a continued conservative risk framework.
