BMY stock is up nearly 20% since my last Hold call; however, I am maintaining that rating due to the volume of uncertainty around the next five years. Key BMY drugs are losing patent protection, while more recently launched drugs are struggling to meet peak revenue expectations. The Pharma has a fairly full late-stage pipeline with multiple readouts upcoming in 2026, but I am not looking to add to my position at this time. I'd advise playing a wait-and-see game, as we will soon find out if the promising pipeline has the commercial revenue potential to offset losses owing to upcoming patent expiries.
