The Dallas-Fort Worth area has extended its reign as the capital of relocation for corporate America's headquarters. North Texas gained a net of 11 new headquarters from out of state last year, according to a report published this month by the national commercial real estate giant CBRE — a bigger influx than any other U.S. metro area. The latest data reiterates a long-running local corporate boom trend: Since 2018, D-FW has received over 100 net headquarters relocations, according to CBRE's count, a number that also placed D-FW first among the country's metro areas over the time period. “Texas metros — especially Dallas-Fort Worth and Austin — remain the strongest magnets,” the report noted.
