Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Tenet Equity Funding SPE IV, Inc., an investment firm, wrote the biggest check in Olmsted County real estate for the year when it purchased the Rochester Meat Co. facilities on June 24. Rochester Meat Co. employs an estimated 240 people in Rochester. The deal did involve two pieces. The Rochester Meat processing plant and other buildings at 825 Seventh St. NW and 1232 Valleyhigh Drive NW were sold for $13.1 million. Tenet also paid $7.47 million for a 36-year-old industrial building at 4239 W. U.S. Highway 14, which is also used by Rochester Meat. On July 31, Sower LVFII Rochester 2660, LLC and SC-SMA Rochester 2660, which report the same address as Sower Investment Partners of Omaha, Nebraska, purchased two retail buildings in Rochester's Broadway Commons area.
