BOSTON, April 17, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Brookline Bancorp, Inc. (the “Company”) (NASDAQ: BRKL), the bank holding company for Brookline Bank and Bank Rhode Island, today announced that, due to the ongoing public health concerns surrounding COVID-19 and to protect the well-being of the Company’s employees and stockholders, the Company will hold its Annual Meeting of Stockholders (the “Annual Meeting”) solely through a virtual meeting webcast format. Stockholders will not be able to attend the Annual Meeting in person. The previously announced date and time of the Annual Meeting (May 13, 2020 at 2:00 PM EDT) have not changed. Attending the Annual Meeting: If you were a stockholder of record as of the close of business on March 20, 2020, you can attend the Annual Meeting by visiting www.virtualshareholdermeeting.com/BRKL2020.
