Related news Semiconductor equipment supplier KLA ( KLAC ) late Monday beat Wall Street's sales and earnings targets for its fiscal fourth quarter. The KLA earnings news sent its stock higher in extended trading. The Milpitas, Calif.-based company earned an adjusted $2.73 a share on sales of $1.46 billion in the quarter ended June 30. Analysts expected KLA earnings of $2.41 a share on sales of $1.42 billion. In the year-earlier quarter, KLA earnings were $1.78 a share on sales of $1.26 billion. In after-hours trading on the stock market today , KLA stock climbed 1%, near 210. During the regular session Monday, ahead of the KLA earnings release, KLA stock rose 3.9% to 207.65.
