The medical technology company signed an 11-year lease for office space in the Penn Field business park at 3601 S. Congress Ave. Boston Scientific, a publicly traded company, employs about 53,000 people globally , according to its website. Boston Scientific acquired Austin's Apollo Endosurgery Inc. in April 2023 for $615 million, or $10 per share. Since then, the company's local employees have been based out of two offices — 1120 S.
