AKRON, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Babcock & Wilcox (B&W) (NYSE: BW) announced today that it has received an initial $10 million order as part of an award valued at approximately $40 million to supply low-pressure Wet Gas Scrubbing (WGS) technology for installation at a major petroleum refinery in Canada.B&W is a licensee of ExxonMobil’s WGS technology, which has been successfully deployed in more than 30 refinery applications worldwide.
