IndyCar switched out its season finale and moved Nashville to the heat of summer for TV exposure. It was one of several key changes to the 2026 schedule. Alex Palou's face was unveiled as the 112th addition to the Borg-Warner trophy after his first Indianapolis 500 win. The four-time IndyCar champion's victory at the 109th Indianapolis 500 was also his first career win on an oval track.
