(NASDAQ:BXRX), a pharmaceutical company focused on therapeutics for acute care settings, today announced two virtual poster presentations highlighting new ANJESO™ (meloxicam) injection data at the 45th Annual Regional Anesthesiology and Acute Pain Medicine Meeting, hosted by the American Society of Regional Anesthesia (ASRA) and Pain Medicine. “The data virtually published by ASRA this year demonstrate that ANJESO is not only efficacious and well tolerated when administered preoperatively to patients prior to total knee arthroplasty (TKA), but it is also associated with a decreased need for opioids following surgery,” said Stewart McCallum, M.D., F.A.C.S., Chief Medical Officer of Baudax Bio. “From a health economic perspective, the study also demonstrated that use of ANJESO is associated with an average of approximately $2,300 in cost savings per patient, lower length of stay (LOS) and fewer hospital readmissions an
