BYD Co. ( BYDDF ) is leaning more aggressively into overseas markets, and management is now signaling that exports could come in roughly 15% above its prior target as the company works to offset a slowdown in China. Following weaker-than-expected fourth-quarter results, executives indicated in an analyst briefing that exports could reach around 1.5 million vehicles in 2026, up from the 1.3 million goal shared earlier this year.
