PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla., June 16, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Carrier Global Corporation (NYSE: CARR) ("Carrier") announced today that it has priced an offering of notes with registration rights of $750 million of 2.700% notes due 2031 (the "Notes"). The sale of the Notes is expected to settle on June 19, 2020, subject to customary closing conditions.Interest on the Notes will be payable semi-annually, in cash in arrears, on February 15 and August 15 of each year, commencing on February 15, 2021, and the Notes will mature on February 15, 2031, unless repurchased or redeemed in accordance with their terms prior to such date. Carrier intends to use the net proceeds from the sale of the Notes, which will further enhance its liquidity and financial flexibility during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, for general corporate purposes.The Notes are being offered only to persons reasonably believed to be "qualified institutional buyers" as that term is defined in Rule 144A under the Securities Act of 1
