Instacart expands delivery service with Associated Wholesale Grocers [Seeking Alpha]

The expanded relationship between Instacart ( CART ) and Associated Wholesale Grocers is now available to members of the AWG cooperative. By partnering with Instacart ( CART ), customers can shop at the participating AWG grocer's location and start adding items to their cart to be picked up and delivered by an Instacart ( CART ) shopper. The service also provides retailers with access to Caper Carts which uses computer vision and artificial intelligence to automatically identify items as they are placed in the customer's cart. AWG customers will be able to bag items as they shop and make payments from anywhere in the store. “Through this collaboration, AWG's retailers now have access to convenient, cost-effective solutions that allow them to easily bring their stores to their customers' doors. We're excited about what we can achieve together,” said Nick Nickitas, general manager of Instacart's local independent grocery and founder of Rosie, acquired by Instacart in September 2022
