A new face is set to join Caterpillar Inc.'s C-suite following the announced retirement of its chief financial officer. Chief Financial Officer Andrew Bonfield will retire on Oct. 1 after more than seven years at Irving-based Caterpillar, the construction equipment maker announced on Apr 8. Kyle Epley, currently senior vice president of global finance services, will step into the CFO role effective May 1. Bonfield will transition into an advisory role to ensure a smooth transition. Caterpillar sales grew 24% during Bonfield's tenure, from $54.7 billion in 2018 to $67.6 billion in 2025, according to federal financial filings.
