Analyst Christine Dooley said CAVA ( CAVA ) appears poised to take advantage of growth opportunities in its targeted Mediterranean niche and nab market share in the broad fast-casual segment of the restaurant industry. "The company has a profitable business model, a clean balance sheet and an experienced management team," noted Dooley. While Dooley thinks valuation is an issue, she reminded investors that historical multiples are irrelevant due to the short time the stock has been publicly traded. The P/E ratio of 200X the 2025 EPS estimate is well-above the peer group average of 120X for fast-growing chains, but the price-sales ratio of 5.7X was highlighted to be below that of industry leader Chipotle ( CMG ).
