The change will provide PepsiCo ( PEP ) with an incentive program designed to incentivize and compensate it for its continued focus on and actions to support the sale of Celsius' ( CELH ) licensed products. The amendment will boost PepsiCo's ( PEP ) average targeted margin on the sale of most licensed products. The amendment also covers products sold through promotional activity. Specific terms were undisclosed by the parties due to competitive reasons. Weighing in on the development, Stifel thinks the PepsiCo ( PEP ) agreement will continue to support strong sales growth and market share gains for Celsius ( CELH ), despite some risk of lower unit margins. Shares of Celsius Holdings ( CELH ) rose in premarket action to $92.59 on light volume. The stock has more than doubled since Celsius ( CELH ) and PepsiCo ( PEP ) first signed their distribution deal. Short interest on CELH stands at 11.4% of the total float.
