CEN: An Interesting, Leveraged Bet On Midstream Summary The midstream industry is in the midst of an unprecedented growth spurt right now due to rapidly growing upstream production. CEN is a rather interesting fund that provides leveraged exposure to the sector. The fund should deliver very strong returns if the future of the industry continues to be bright but it does have some additional risks. Oil and natural gas production in the United States is expected to double over the 2010-2030 period, benefiting midstream firms. The fund boasts a 15% distribution yield but trades at a slight premium. Usually, MLP funds trade at a discount to NAV.
