NEW YORK, March 12, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Center Coast Brookfield MLP & Energy Infrastructure Fund (NYSE: CEN) (the “Fund”) today announced that its Board of Trustees, based upon the recommendation of Brookfield Public Securities Group LLC (“PSG”), the Fund’s adviser, and its portfolio management team, decreased the monthly distribution of the Fund, effective April 2020. As discussed more fully below, the change in the distribution for the Fund takes into account many factors, including, but not limited to, the Fund’s current and expected earnings, the overall market environment and PSG’s current economic and market outlook. The Fund declared a decrease to its monthly distribution from $0.1042 per share to $0.03 per share, payable on April 23, 2020 to stockholders of record on April 15, 2020.
