The sale will feature historic and contemporary pieces by iconic houses including Bulgari, Cartier, David Webb, JAR, Tiffany & Co., and Van Cleef & Arpels. Among the highlights is a Bulgari diamond ring once owned by legendary Hollywood actress and renowned jewelry collector Elizabeth Taylor (1932–2011). The 1961 platinum ring is set with a 2.62-carat fancy vivid yellow marquise brilliant-cut diamond framed by pear, marquise and round diamonds. Gifted to Taylor by singer Eddie Fisher for her 30th birthday, it carries an estimate of $120,000–$180,000. The ring was last sold at Christie's New York on December 13, 2011, during the record-breaking auction “ The Collection of Elizabeth Taylor: The Legendary Jewels, Evening Sale .” Leading the sale is the previously announced Rockefeller Kashmir , a Cartier Art Deco sugarloaf cabochon sapphire and diamond ring centered with a 17.66-carat Kashmir sapphire.
