RUTHERFORD, N.J., Jan. 09, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Cancer Genetics, Inc. (Nasdaq: CGIX), a leader in enabling precision medicine for immuno-oncology and genomic medicine through molecular markers and diagnostics, today announced that it intends to offer and sell, subject to market and other conditions, shares of its common stock in an underwritten public offering. Cancer Genetics also expects to grant the underwriter a 45-day option to purchase additional shares of its common stock to cover over-allotments, if any. The offering is subject to market and other conditions, and there can be no assurance as to whether or when the offering may be completed, or as to the actual size or terms of the offering. H.C. Wainwright & Co. is acting as the sole book-running manager for the offering. Cancer Genetics intends to use the net proceeds from this offering to pay lender fees and other costs incurred in connection with the potential forbearance agreements we are negotiating with our banks
