Further Ado drew the No. 6 post position in a field of nine for the Blue Grass, a key prep race for the Kentucky Derby on May 2 at Churchill Downs The Blue Grass will offer 200 qualifying points toward the Kentucky Derby, with 100 going to the winner and 50 to the runner-up. A son of Gun Runner, Further Ado is 2-1-1 in five career starts after finishing second behind The Puma in the Grade 3 Tampa Bay Derby on March 7. Cox is looking for his third win in as many weeks in a key Kentucky Derby prep race, having won the Jeff Ruby Steaks on March 21 with Fulleffort and the Florida Derby with Commandment on March 28. Reagan's Honor is the 5-2 second choice in the Blue Grass. Trained by Cherie DeVaux, Reagan's Honor will enter stakes company for the first time after winning an allowance race Feb. 19 at Fair Grounds.
