Donald Trump is no stranger to Kentucky, a state he has visited a handful of times since his 2016 presidential campaign and for remarks just south of Cincinnati. Trump won Kentucky in the last three presidential elections, Thousands of backers have cheered him on at rallies around the commonwealth, while each of those events were met by crowds of protesters. Trump has twice (he was not the sitting president on either occasion). His second appearance came following his first term, in the hours before the Run for the Roses. Here is a timeline of some of Trump's recent Kentucky appearances. During his roughly 35-minute speech, Trump demanded a group of protestors disrupting his address be removed — to "get them out of here," as he put it.
