The Ridgefield, Conn.-based food distributor said that it would nominate Richard Peretz and Wendy Weinstein to the board at the annual meeting, while Lester Owens was appointed to the board on Monday. Advertisement The company said that under the agreement it would reduce the board to 11 members from 14, and then further to nine following the 2025 annual meeting. In total, five incumbent directors will step down. Legion Partners owns about 3.3% of Chefs' warehouse's stock. The company also agreed to form an operational and financial performance task force, which will make recommendations to the board and manage margin improvements.
