(Nasdaq: CHFS), today announced that it is expanding its commercial focus into the post-cardiovascular surgery market, where, like in heart failure, patients often need treatment for fluid overload and have failed diuretic therapy. Surgical patients are often challenged by fluid overload post procedure due to the extra administration of fluids required during surgery.
