Cordani will retire as chief executive officer effective July 1, 2026, and become executive chair of The Cigna Group's Board of Directors. Brian Evanko, current president and chief operating officer, will succeed Cordani as CEO. Brian Evanko announced as next Chief Executive Officer of The Cigna Group, effective July 1, 2026.
