NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Chimera Investment Corporation (NYSE: CIM) (the “Company”) announced today that it has closed its previously announced underwritten public offering of $65 million aggregate principal amount of its 9.000% senior notes due 2029 (the “Notes”). The Company has applied to list the Notes on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “CIMN” and expects trading in the Notes on the New York Stock Exchange to begin on May 28, 2024. Following pricing, the Notes received an investment grade rating of BBB from Egan-Jones Ratings Company, an independent, unaffiliated rating agency.“Chimera is pleased to announce the closing of the Notes offering,” said Phillip J. Kardis, Chimera’s President and CEO. “This offering diversifies our capital structure and allows us to continue acquiring high yielding assets which we believe will benefit our shareholders over the long term.
