Retired BofA Merrill Lynch Senior Executive Combines Deep Knowledge of Industrials and Significant Strategic M&A Expertise BURLINGTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CIRCOR International, Inc. (NYSE: CIR), a leading provider of flow control solutions and other highly engineered products for the Industrial, Energy and Aerospace & Defense markets, today announced the appointment of Samuel R. Chapin as an independent director to its Board of Directors, effective January 1, 2019. Mr. Chapin will replace Douglas M. Hayes, who is retiring from the Board at the end of this year. Mr. Chapin has been appointed to the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee of the Board. His term will expire at the Company’s 2021 Annual Meeting of Stockholders.Mr. Chapin retired at the end of 2016 from Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he had served as an Executive Vice Chairman.
