ATHENS, Greece, Oct. 08, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- C3is Inc. (NASDAQ: CISS) (the “Company”), a ship-owning company providing dry bulk and tanker seaborne transportation services, today announced that it has entered into definitive agreements in a registered direct offering with institutional investors for the purchase and sale of 800,000 shares of its Common Stock at a public offering price of $2.50, for an aggregate offering price of $2.0 million. Aggregate gross proceeds to the Company are expected to be approximately $2.0 million. The transaction is expected to close on or about October 9, 2025, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions. The Company expects to use the net proceeds from the offering, together with its existing cash, for general corporate purposes and working capital. Aegis Capital Corp. is acting as exclusive placement agent for the offering. Goodwin Procter LLP is acting as U.S. counsel to the Company. Kaufman & Canoles, P.C. is acting as U.S.
