Deutsche Bank Upgrades Colgate-Palmolive Company (CL) to Buy, Sees Opportunity after Selloff On March 30, Deutsche Bank upgraded Colgate-Palmolive Company (NYSE:CL) to Buy from Hold. It raised its price target to $98 from $90. The firm said the recent selloff has created a buying opportunity. The analyst described Colgate as having a “quality and durable” core franchise that is “making the right long-term investments.” The firm also said the company has the “flexibility to weather current volatility,” according to the research note. On March 12, the Board of Directors of Colgate-Palmolive announced an increase in its quarterly common stock cash dividend to $0.53 per share, up from $0.52. The increase will take effect in the second quarter of 2026. On an annualized basis, the new rate stands at $2.12 per share, compared to $2.08 previously.
